For at least the last 17 years that I can remember, I’ve always wanted to see cherry blossoms in bloom but I’ve never had the timing just right or the finances. Well, this year I had a really good opportunity come up that I just couldn’t pass on so I’ll be in Washington D.C. next week for a couple of days touring the city and seeing a childhood dream come true.

Of course, all my travels end up being solo and centered around photography so I had a really interesting idea come to mind. I always have a lot of people reach out to me to ask to buy a print of the work I do when I travel so I thought I’d try to get ahead of that this time and help offset some travel expenses as well (cuz traveling right ain’t exactly cheap!) I’m going to be photographing some of the more iconic locations in the city along with the cherry blossoms in bloom, rain or shine, cloud or sun.
